End's Delight Mod Guide: End Cuisine, Dragon Recipes & Teleportation Foods
End's Delight is an addon for Farmer's Delight that transforms the End dimension into a culinary goldmine. The mod adds over 40 new food items crafted from Dragon meat, Shulker flesh, Enderman Gristle, and Chorus plants, along with four End-themed knives and the End Stove cooking station.
Overview
End's Delight brings Farmer's Delight's cooking systems into the End dimension, giving players a reason to harvest the creatures they've been fighting for years. The Ender Dragon, Shulkers, Endermen, and Endermites all become sources of unique ingredients that can be cooked into powerful meals with special effects.
The mod adds a new cooking station (the
End Stove), four knives made from End materials, a harvestable plant called
Chorus Succulent, and dozens of food items ranging from simple snacks to elaborate feast blocks that serve multiple players. Many of the higher-tier foods grant teleportation abilities, remove negative status effects, or provide long-lasting buffs like Nourishment and Comfort from Farmer's Delight. You can browse every item and recipe this mod adds using the tabs at the top of this page.
Prerequisites
End's Delight requires Farmer's Delight to be installed, as it relies on Farmer's Delight's knife system, Cooking Pot, and food effect framework. You should have a working Cooking Pot and be familiar with Farmer's Delight basics before diving into this addon. You will also need to have defeated the Ender Dragon at least once, since many ingredients come from End creatures and the Dragon itself.
Getting Started
- 1
Gather Chorus Succulents
Chorus Succulents generate naturally in the End Highlands biome alongside Chorus Plants. Look for small purple plants on the ground. They can be stacked up to 3 in one block space, and they grow to full size when placed on top of a Chorus Plant block. These are a key ingredient in many recipes, so gather plenty.
- 2
Craft Your First End Knife
You'll need a knife to butcher End creatures for their ingredients. The
End Stone Knife and
Purpur Knife are the easiest to craft, requiring just their respective material plus Popped Chorus Fruit. Either will work to get you started harvesting
Shulker Meat, Dragon Meat,
Enderman Gristle, and Endermite Meat from End mobs. - 3
Build an End Stove
The
End Stove functions like Farmer's Delight's Stove but is crafted from End materials. It holds up to 6 items at once and cooks them using campfire recipes. Place raw meats directly on the lit stove, and they'll cook and pop off when done. Light it with Flint and Steel, and extinguish it with a Water Bucket or Shovel. - 4
Dry Chorus Flowers
Dried Chorus Flowers are used in many advanced recipes, including
Chorus Flower Tea,
Shulker Soup, and
Enderman Gristle Stew. Simply smelt a Chorus Flower in a Furnace or place it on a Campfire. Stock up on these early, as they appear in recipes throughout the mod. - 5
Start Cooking with the Cooking Pot
The most powerful foods in End's Delight are made in Farmer's Delight's Cooking Pot. Combine your harvested meats, Chorus ingredients, and Dried Chorus Flowers to create meals like
Chorus Sauce (a key crafting ingredient),
Ender Noodle,
Shulker Soup, and the incredible Dragon Meat Stew. Each Cooking Pot recipe requires specific ingredient combinations, so check the Recipes tab for details.
End Knives
End's Delight adds four knives that follow the Farmer's Delight knife system. All four have an attack speed of -2.0 and share the same +0.5 base attack damage bonus, but they differ significantly in durability and damage based on their materials.
The
End Stone Knife and
Purpur Knife are your entry-level options with identical stats: 200 durability, 1.0 attack damage, and mining level 1. The
End Stone Knife is repaired with End Stone, while the
Purpur Knife uses Popped Chorus Fruit. These are cheap to make and perfectly adequate for harvesting ingredients from End mobs.
The
Dragon Egg Shell Knife is a significant upgrade at 1,250 durability and 2.5 attack damage. It requires a Half
Dragon Egg Shell to craft, which you obtain from the Non-Hatchable Dragon Egg. This knife is repaired with Half Dragon Egg Shells.
The
Dragon Tooth Knife is the ultimate End knife with 1,561 durability (matching Diamond tools) and 4.0 attack damage. It is crafted at a Smithing Table and repaired with Diamonds. Its special ability is devastating: it deals 3.5x damage to End mobs, including Endermen, Endermites, Shulkers, and even the Ender Dragon. This makes it an exceptional weapon for farming ingredients in the End.
Knife Comparison
| End Stone Knife | Purpur Knife | Dragon Egg Shell Knife | Dragon Tooth Knife | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Durability | 200 | 200 | 1,250 | 1,561 |
| Attack Damage | 1.0 (+0.5) | 1.0 (+0.5) | 2.5 (+0.5) | 4.0 (+0.5) |
| Mining Level | 1 | 1 | 2 | 2 |
| Enchantability | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
| Repair Material | End Stone | Popped Chorus Fruit | Half Dragon Egg Shell | Diamond |
| Special | None | None | None | 3.5x vs End mobs |
The
Dragon Tooth Knife's 3.5x damage multiplier applies to Endermen, Endermites, Shulkers, and the Ender Dragon. With 4.0 base attack damage multiplied by 3.5, it deals 14.0 effective damage per hit to these mobs, making it one of the best weapons for End farming. The list of affected mobs is configurable in the mod's config file.
The End Stove
The
End Stove is a cooking station that functions identically to Farmer's Delight's Stove, but it is crafted from End materials and fits the End's aesthetic. It can hold up to 6 items simultaneously and cooks them using campfire-type recipes. Items cook on top of the stove and pop off as finished products when complete.
To use the
End Stove, light it with Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge, then right-click raw food onto its surface. The stove emits a light level of 13 when lit and will burn entities that walk on it for 1 damage. You can extinguish it with a Water Bucket or a Shovel. If a block is placed directly above the stove, it will eject all items currently cooking. This makes it a great addition to an End base where you're processing large amounts of
Shulker Meat and Dragon Meat.

Raw Ingredients
End's Delight introduces several raw ingredients that drop from End mobs when killed with a knife. Understanding what each creature provides is essential for planning your cooking.
From the Ender Dragon
The Ender Dragon is the most valuable source of ingredients. Dragon Teeth are rare drops used to craft the
Dragon Tooth Knife.
Raw Dragon Meat (8 hunger, 0.6 saturation) is the primary Dragon ingredient and can be cooked into
Roasted Dragon Meat for 15 hunger with Regeneration I.
Raw Dragon Meat Cuts (3 hunger) are a smaller portion, and Dragon Legs (8 hunger) can be smoked into the impressive
Smoked Dragon Leg at 15 hunger with Regeneration I.
From Shulkers
Shulker Meat (4 hunger) and
Shulker Meat Slices (2 hunger) both inflict Levitation when eaten raw, so always cook them first.
Roasted Shulker Meat provides 6 hunger, and Roasted Shulker Meat Slices give 3 hunger, both still granting Levitation but in a more manageable form. Shulker Meat is also a core ingredient in several Cooking Pot recipes.
From Endermen and Endermites
Endermen drop
Enderman Gristle (2 hunger, 0.8 saturation), which triggers a random teleportation when consumed. This teleportation deals 30% of your current health as damage, so use it carefully.
Raw Endermite Meat (3 hunger) is a simple drop from Endermites that can be dried into
Dried Endermite Meat (5 hunger) through smelting.
Chorus Ingredients
Chorus Succulents (2 hunger, 0.8 saturation) grow naturally in End Highlands and serve as a vegetable base for many recipes. Dried Chorus Flowers are created by smelting Chorus Flowers and appear in numerous advanced recipes.
Chorus Fruit Grain and
Ender Pearl Grain are processed crafting components used in desserts and specialty drinks.
Chorus Sauce is made in a Cooking Pot from Chorus Succulents and Chorus Fruit, and it's a key ingredient in several top-tier meals.
Foods and items that cause teleportation (
Enderman Gristle,
Raw Ender Sausage, and certain drinks) deal damage when they teleport you. The cost is 30% of your current health. If your health drops below 30% of maximum, the damage increases to 150% of current health, which can kill you. Never eat teleportation foods at low health.
Simple Cooked Foods
The most straightforward recipes involve simply cooking raw ingredients in a Furnace, Smoker, Campfire, or on the
End Stove.
Roasted Dragon Meat is your best basic food at 15 hunger with Regeneration I for 15 seconds.
Smoked Dragon Leg offers the same stats and is made by smoking a
Dragon Leg.
Roasted Dragon Meat Cuts provide a smaller 6 hunger option with brief Regeneration.
Dried Endermite Meat (5 hunger) is an easy snack from smelting
Raw Endermite Meat.
Ender Sausage (9 hunger, Regeneration I) is made by cooking
Raw Ender Sausage, and it teleports you on consumption while crouching.
Shulker Omelette (11 hunger, Levitation and Regeneration) is cooked from the
Shulker Omelette Mixture, which combines an Egg,
Shulker Meat, and Onion. The
Fried Dragon Egg is the single most nutritious simple food: 20 hunger with Regeneration III, Fire Resistance III, and Resistance III for 4 minutes each, crafted by cooking a
Liquid Dragon Egg.
Cooking Pot Meals
The Cooking Pot from Farmer's Delight is where End's Delight's most powerful recipes come together. These meals generally provide high hunger restoration combined with valuable status effects.
Chorus Sauce
Chorus Sauce is not a meal on its own (just 3 hunger), but it is the most important intermediate crafting ingredient. Made from Chorus Succulents and Chorus Fruit in a Cooking Pot, it's used in
Roasted Dragon Steak,
Raw Ender Sausage,
Dragon Leg With Sauce Block, and
Ender Noodle. Always keep a supply on hand.
Main Dishes
Stir Fried Shulker Meat (10 hunger) requires Onion, Tomato, Chorus Fruit, and
Shulker Meat. It grants Levitation and Nourishment for 3 minutes.
Ender Noodle (8 hunger) combines
Shulker Meat,
Dried Endermite Meat,
Chorus Sauce, Warped Fungus, and Dough, providing Levitation and Comfort.
Shulker Soup (8 hunger) uses Shulker Meat,
Dried Chorus Flower, and
Chorus Succulent, granting Levitation and Comfort.
Ender Congee (10 hunger) is made from Rice, Dried Endermite Meat, and
Ender Pearl Grain, offering Regeneration, Resistance, and Night Vision along with Comfort.
Enderman Gristle Stew (7 hunger) combines two Enderman Gristles,
Dried Chorus Flower, and
Chorus Succulent, granting Nourishment. Unlike raw
Enderman Gristle, the stew only teleports you if you crouch while eating.
Ender Bamboo Rice (15 hunger) is one of the highest-nutrition Cooking Pot meals, requiring Bamboo, Rice,
Raw Dragon Meat, Chorus Succulent, Carrot, and Onion, with Regeneration and Nourishment effects.
Feast Blocks
End's Delight includes four feast blocks, which are placeable food stations that serve multiple portions, just like Farmer's Delight's feast system. Place them on a surface and right-click with an empty hand to take a serving. These are ideal for multiplayer servers or keeping a steady food supply at your End base.
Dragon Meat Stew Block
Made in the Cooking Pot from
Raw Dragon Meat, Chorus Fruit,
Chorus Succulent, Carrot, Potato, and Tomato. Each serving of Dragon Meat Stew provides 10 hunger with Absorption III (75s), Regeneration I (15s), Fire Resistance I (30s), and Nourishment for 5 minutes. This is one of the best feast blocks in the game.
Steamed Dragon Egg Block
Crafted in the Cooking Pot from a
Liquid Dragon Egg,
Shulker Meat, Chorus Fruit, Brown Mushroom,
Chorus Succulent, and Onion. Each Steamed Dragon Egg serving restores 12 hunger and grants Absorption III (60s), Nourishment (5 min), Regeneration III (60s), Fire Resistance III (60s), and Resistance III (60s).
Dragon Leg With Sauce Block
Crafted at the Crafting Table from Tomato,
Chorus Sauce, Crimson Fungus,
Smoked Dragon Leg, Warped Fungus, and Chorus Fruit. Each serving provides 10 hunger with Absorption III (75s), Regeneration I (15s), and Nourishment (5 min).
Grilled Shulker Block
Crafted at the Crafting Table from Chorus Succulents, Onion, Tomato,
Roasted Shulker Meat, Chorus Fruit, and a
Shulker Shell. Each serving restores 8 hunger with Regeneration, Levitation, and Nourishment (5 min).
Drinks and Desserts
End's Delight features a creative selection of drinks and desserts, many with unique special effects beyond simple hunger restoration.
Drinks
Chorus Fruit Milk Tea (6 hunger) is made in the Cooking Pot from Milk and Chorus Fruit. It teleports you when consumed while crouching.
Bubble Tea (8 hunger) adds
Ender Pearl Grain to the mix and also teleports on crouch. Both return a Glass Bottle when consumed.
Chorus Flower Tea provides no hunger but grants Regeneration I and Resistance, and it removes the Levitation effect, making it a lifesaver after eating
Shulker-based foods. Dragon Breath Soda gives Fire Resistance and Resistance for 60 seconds each, crafted simply from Dragon Breath and Sugar.
Chorus Fruit Wine (0 hunger) is a utility drink: it removes one random negative status effect and teleports you. Dragon Breath and Chorus Soup (16 hunger) is the ultimate soup, providing Regeneration I, Fire Resistance, Resistance, and Comfort, while also removing a random negative effect. Crouch while consuming it to also teleport.
Desserts and Snacks
Chorus Cookies (2 hunger each, crafted 8 at a time) are a quick snack from Wheat and
Chorus Fruit Grain. Stuffed Rice Cakes (6 hunger) combine Rice, Sugar, and Chorus Fruit for a solid early food.
Chorus Fruit Popsicle (3 hunger) is made from Chorus Fruit Grain, Ice, and a Stick.
Chorus Flower Pie (4 hunger, Regeneration) uses Dough,
Dried Chorus Flower, Poppy, and Sugar.
The
Chorus Fruit Pie is a placeable block (like Pumpkin Pie in Farmer's Delight) that provides 4 slices when placed. It can be crafted from Wheat, Poppy,
Dried Chorus Flower, Sugar, and Pie Crust, or reassembled from 4 Chorus Fruit Pie Slices.
Many
Shulker-based foods inflict Levitation, which can be dangerous in the End where floating too high means falling to your death. Keep
Chorus Flower Tea on hand to instantly cure Levitation. It's made in the Cooking Pot from a Ghast Tear and
Dried Chorus Flower.
Salads and Composite Meals
For players who want strong food without the Cooking Pot, End's Delight offers several crafting-table meals.
End Mixed Salad (10 hunger) combines Chorus Fruit, two Chorus Succulents, Cabbage, and Tomato in a Bowl, providing Regeneration and Absorption.
Assorted Salad (14 hunger) is a more advanced version adding Crimson Fungus, Warped Fungus, and a
Shulker Shell, granting Regeneration, Absorption, and Fire Resistance.
End Barbecue Stick (10 hunger, crafts 3) combines
Roasted Shulker Meat,
Roasted Dragon Meat, Chorus Fruit,
Dried Endermite Meat, and Sticks. It's a convenient portable food with Regeneration.
Roasted Dragon Steak (18 hunger) is the single highest-hunger handheld food, combining
Chorus Sauce, Roasted Dragon Meat, Tomato, Warped Fungus, Crimson Fungus, Chorus Fruit, and a Bowl, providing Regeneration and Nourishment for 5 minutes.
The Dragon Egg Pipeline
One of the more unique features in End's Delight is the ability to craft and cook with Dragon Eggs. The pipeline starts with the Non-Hatchable Dragon Egg, an expensive decorative-tier item crafted from Obsidian, End Crystals, and a
Dragon Tooth. When broken or processed, it yields Half Dragon Egg Shells (used for the
Dragon Egg Shell Knife) and a
Liquid Dragon Egg.
The
Liquid Dragon Egg can be consumed raw for 14 hunger with Regeneration, Fire Resistance, Resistance, and Nausea. Cooking it produces the
Fried Dragon Egg (20 hunger) with massively upgraded buffs. It's also a key ingredient in the
Steamed Dragon Egg Block feast. The Non-Hatchable Dragon Egg is expensive to craft, so treat Liquid Dragon Eggs as premium ingredients.

Teleportation Mechanics
Several End's Delight foods trigger teleportation, mimicking the Chorus Fruit's effect. This mechanic comes in two forms: automatic teleportation and crouch-to-teleport.
Enderman Gristle and
Raw Ender Sausage always teleport you on consumption, dealing 30% of your current health as damage. The default teleport range is 24 blocks horizontally and 32 blocks maximum height, both configurable in the mod settings.
The "crouch-to-teleport" foods are more refined:
Ender Sausage,
Enderman Gristle Stew,
Bubble Tea,
Chorus Fruit Milk Tea,
Chorus Fruit Wine, and Dragon Breath and Chorus Soup all only teleport you if you hold crouch while consuming. This lets you eat them safely for their nutritional and buff benefits without the teleportation risk. Teleportation can be entirely disabled in the config by setting enableGristleTeleport to false.
Configuration Options
End's Delight provides several configuration options in its config file. The most important is enableGristleTeleport (default: true), which enables or disables all food-based teleportation. Set this to false if you want the food benefits without the teleportation mechanic.
The teleportRangeSize setting (default: 24, range 1-32) controls the horizontal distance of Gristle teleportation. The teleportMaxHeight setting (default: 32, range 1-64) controls how high the teleport can place you. Lower these values if you find teleportation too dangerous.
The allowedMobs list controls which mobs receive 3.5x damage from the
Dragon Tooth Knife. By default, this includes Endermen, Endermites, the Ender Dragon, and Shulkers. You can add custom mob IDs to extend this to modded End creatures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does End's Delight work without Farmer's Delight?
No. End's Delight is an addon that requires Farmer's Delight as a dependency. It uses Farmer's Delight's knife system, Cooking Pot, food effect framework (Nourishment, Comfort), and drink item classes. You must have Farmer's Delight installed for End's Delight to function.
How do I get Dragon Teeth?
Dragon Teeth are rare drops from the Ender Dragon when killed with a knife. You'll need them to craft the
Dragon Tooth Knife at a Smithing Table and to create Non-Hatchable Dragon Eggs. Since you need to defeat the Ender Dragon to obtain them, they are effectively an endgame material.
Can I disable the teleportation from foods?
Yes. Set enableGristleTeleport to false in the mod's config file. This disables all food-based teleportation, allowing you to eat
Enderman Gristle,
Ender Sausage, and teleport-enabled drinks without the random teleportation and associated health cost.
Why am I floating after eating Shulker food?
Most
Shulker-based foods inflict the Levitation effect, just as Shulker projectiles do in vanilla. This is intentional. Drink
Chorus Flower Tea (made from Ghast Tear and
Dried Chorus Flower in a Cooking Pot) to instantly remove Levitation. It's worth keeping some on hand whenever you're eating Shulker dishes.
What is the best food in End's Delight?
For raw hunger restoration, the
Fried Dragon Egg is unmatched at 20 hunger with three level-III buffs lasting 4 minutes each. For sustained adventuring, the
Roasted Dragon Steak (18 hunger, Nourishment for 5 minutes) or the Dragon Meat Stew feast block (Absorption III, Regeneration, Fire Resistance, Nourishment) are excellent. For pure utility,
Chorus Flower Tea's Levitation cure and Dragon Breath and Chorus Soup's negative-effect removal are invaluable.
Where do I find Chorus Succulents?
Chorus Succulents generate naturally in the End Highlands biome, which is the outer End island area where Chorus Plants grow. Look for small purple plants on the ground near Chorus Trees. You can also place them yourself, and they can be stacked up to 3 per block. When placed on a Chorus Plant block, they can be bone-mealed to grow to maximum size.
